Welcome To Conference 

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure and honor to give you a warm invitation to attend the 2nd International Conference on Microbiology and One Health (MOH-VN 2024), which will take place in Quy Nhon City in the middle of of Vietnam, from 11 – 14 August 2024. This event will continue the success of the 1st MOH-VN 2018, having 45 talks and 29 posters with 6 different divisions that span various aspects of microbiology.

The MOH-VN 2024 is co-organized by the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education under the support of Rencontres du Vietnam, University of Science, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM-UoS), National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Vietnam (OUCRU) in collaboration with American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Vietnam Association of Preventive Medicine (VAPM), Veterinary Vaccinology Network, Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB), Vietnam Young Academy. The primary goal of the conference is to provide an international forum for leading academic scientists, researchers, medical doctors, and scholars from around the world to discuss microbiology topics, mainly focusing on One Health. The comprehensive scientific program of the conference includes plenary talks, keynote talks, and oral and poster sessions where researchers worldwide will present and discuss the latest results. This conference will be a precious opportunity for all of us to meet, share, and promote further scientific collaboration. The conference topics are as follows:

Together with our keynote and invited speakers, accepted submissions will supplement to the success of the conference via oral or poster presentations. Selected full manuscripts could be peer-reviewed and published in Vietnam Journal of Preventive Medicine, or Vietnam Science and Technology Development Journal.

    Introduction
    The town of My Tho lies on the left side of the Mekong River and just a 1.5 hour drive from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. You will enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River and then ride on a hand-rowing sampan through small islets under a green canopy of water-coconut trees to catch a glimpse of the daily activities of the local people. A visit to an orchard islet to observe the pastoral life and enjoy coconut milk, seasonal fruit, honey tea and lunch of country delicacies will also be arranged

    • 10:30: Visit coconut candy workshop and local house: enjoy tropical fruit, honey tea and amateur singing
    • Enjoy hand-rowing sampan along the cannel.
    • 12:30: Lunch.
    • 14:00: Return to Pier 30/4. Bound to Ho Chi Minh City.
    • 16:00-16:30: arriving to the departure point. End of service
